As most of you all know my last blog was talking about a bucket list. Well I'm pleased to say that this coming weekend I'll get to check off my first thing. (#12 Zip line) I really can't wait, I'll be leaving October7Th for a family trip to Tenn. and staying for the weekend.
I don't know if you all keep up with Eminem much, but alot of my friends know that hes one of my favorite artists. Him and Lecrae. Well Eminem just premiered his video ft. Lil Wayne "No Love." I don't know about you guys but all of Eminems videos really have cool messages in them. This is Eminems third video off Recovery, which Weezy filmed right before he went to prison. This video Eminem focuses on teen bullying.
Also lecrae just came out with his newest album "Rehab." I can't even express how great this album is. Right now Lecrae is in Sudan on a mission trip and i can't begin to tell you how much you all need to go out and purchase this album to support him.

What makes Lecraes album so good is the messages he tries put in each song. My favorite track on the album as of right now is called "Killa." It's hard for me to say its my absolute favorite though, because there are so many other tracks that I love so much. If you have the time, you should all take about 3 minutes to listen to this song. I have a feeling you would all love it.
Ive heard his new cd was really good from a few people but i can never really get into this christian rap. Just the idea of rap and church together doesnt seem like they should go together lol
ReplyDeleteSee man thats how i felt a long time ago.. I think the only reason we have that thought is because for so long rap has been a stereotype for nothing but drugs, chicks, sex, and everything else. music is one of the most influential ways to reach out to others. By an artist being able to take Rap and preachto someone, i think its freakin sweet.
