Long time no talk

Hey guys how's it going?

Well in my world everything is going picture perfect. I recently went on a family trip to Tenn. and got to mark zip lining off of my bucket list. It was an amazing time and i can't begin to explain how great of an experience it was, i advise everyone to at least give it a try someday.

I also got re baptized on 10/24/10. The greatest day of my entire life. I honestly don't even have the right words to express the feelings i have felt since it happened. I hope and pray that God uses me as a tool to reach out and help people. I really want to be the best me i am capable of being and i know the only way that is possible is through him.

I haven't really gotten to blog in a long time because i have been so overwhelmed with school and work. I have never been so busy so this blog is really just me rambling on and on about random stuff. As most of you all know I suffer from a "Twitter" addiction and recently made a bet with a friend that i could go a whole week with out tweeting. Well for some of you, you probably think that's no big deal! Well for me it is, LOL when you put out 30+ tweets a day and then you all of a sudden just quit, you really start missing it. Well as of right now im two days away from my goal haha, Wednesday night at 8:00 P.m. I will be back on my tweet game and i can't wait.

On another note NBA is about to start and i can't freaking wait. I'm seriously so pumped to see how the Miami Heat play together. If you get a chance check out Lebrons new commercial. Its crazy, how Lebron turned all the negative feedback with his decision to sign with the Heat to his theme for his new commercial. Lebron is a great ball player who receives alot of hatred because of that. People try and compare him to the Greatest of all time MICHAEL JORDAN, which in my own personal opinion there will never be another MJ. BUT lebron is awesome and he made a move to set him up with two other top notch basketball players. His new commercial pretty much calls out everything that people have said about him from being called a villain, to ruining his legacy, even a personal shout out to Charles Barkley.

Moving up in the game

From kicking dumb rhymes just to pass the time, too rapping at parties for all his closest friends. West Metcalfe has been in the game for quite sometime now. I've known this guy for years, and ever since i could remember me and him have made up funny, dumb, thug, white, and even some love raps for the ladie friends. We've rapped about everything ranging from Tea Cups, Pumas, and Dominoes too Basketball, chicks, and guns that neither of us own. We've had some good times, and it wasn't till recently that he really has gotten into his music. West finally took the initiative with a little push from our friend Nathan Blum, to go the extra step and invest into legit recording equipment. This kids talent with words is unreal, he really has a talent that some artists work there entire life to reach but don't. I'm writing this to try and get the word out, he isn't just another artist out there goofing off and wasting time. This kids got it, and people need to hear it. I want everyone to check out his website, All you gotta do is click it, I promise you won't be sorry! From our YouTube videos to now he has escalated to new heights, so let me know what y'all think... His latest mix tape Stuck in Limbo was hosted by Mix tape DJ, DJ Cap Com, where West shows off his new quality sound with the phantom mic they bought.

I also want to talk about Eric "Money E" Samples, the producer of most beats used by West. I really don't have to say much other than, T.I. come holla at us if you need a beat. LOL this guy has been into music for as long as i can remember, he actually use to work with one of my favorite underground groups "Click Tite." They no longer make music, but Eric is always working hard on his music and hopefully someday all that hard work pays off for him. Give these guys a chance and check out there websites, i realize not alot of people actually read this blog but for those of you that do, check it out.

Despite MTV's reputation for coming out with some of the worlds worse TV shows in my opinion, I believe that I've finally found one worth watching. World of Jenks is truly one of a kind, MTV is actually amazing at creating: documentary television. Andrew Jenks a 24-year-old documentary filmmaker spends a full week with a unique individual in their shoes. He's been through it all putting himself in different cultures/lifestyles. Hes lived the "Thug Life" with well known rapper Maino, who is famous for his hit single "all the above", and even spending time with a less fortunate homeless woman where he slept for a week in a sleeping bag on the concrete. Jenks has even spent a week with a special teen who had autism (My personal favorite). It really shows you the different lifestyles and gives you a whole new perspective on certain types of people. Each show made for great television, but an even greater lesson. Jenks talks about how the best way to get to know a person is to walk in there shoes. I couldn't agree more, he claims that after spending a few days with someone that is when you really get to know them. I personally love the show, i feel like we should all get to know others more then what we do. "It's how i learn, and develop as a person," is what Jenks says. I'm not going to get all deep in this blog and really break down the show and what it means to me personally. All i want is if you get a chance and see it on TV, give it a shot and watch it. You won't be disappointed.

Random

Hello World,

As most of you all know my last blog was talking about a bucket list. Well I'm pleased to say that this coming weekend I'll get to check off my first thing. (#12 Zip line) I really can't wait, I'll be leaving October7Th for a family trip to Tenn. and staying for the weekend.

I don't know if you all keep up with Eminem much, but alot of my friends know that hes one of my favorite artists. Him and Lecrae. Well Eminem just premiered his video ft. Lil Wayne "No Love." I don't know about you guys but all of Eminems videos really have cool messages in them. This is Eminems third video off Recovery, which Weezy filmed right before he went to prison. This video Eminem focuses on teen bullying.

Also lecrae just came out with his newest album "Rehab." I can't even express how great this album is. Right now Lecrae is in Sudan on a mission trip and i can't begin to tell you how much you all need to go out and purchase this album to support him.

What makes Lecraes album so good is the messages he tries put in each song. My favorite track on the album as of right now is called "Killa." It's hard for me to say its my absolute favorite though, because there are so many other tracks that I love so much. If you have the time, you should all take about 3 minutes to listen to this song. I have a feeling you would all love it.
